Epoxy floors are low maintenance, not no maintenance. Five habits protect the investment for years.
Keep grit off the floor. Abrasive dust under wheels is the single biggest cause of premature wear in warehouses. Entrance matting and daily sweeping handle most of it.
Use pH-neutral cleaners. Strong alkalis dull the top coat over time and can soften certain resin systems.
Deal with spills quickly, especially solvents and battery acid, and use drip trays under static equipment.
Protect against point loads with load-spreading plates under racking legs and jacks, and schedule a top-coat refresh every five to seven years in heavy-traffic zones.
